MVP's by Position

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Post season awards are starting to come out - Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, Most Valuable Player - to name three. MVP awards are voted on by the Baseball Writers Association of America.

For your next game of baseball trivia, here's an interesting look at the defensive positions that produced the most MVP's since 1990.

It's interesting that only two American League left fielders (Rickey Henderson, 1990 and Josh Hamilton, 2010) have MVP's since 1990, but 7 National League left fielders have taken home the trophy. Actually one guy, Barry Bonds won it 7 times.
